MY THOUGHTS ON THE CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES….

Broncos vs PatsMy first prediction….these will be exciting games to watch on Sunday!  I think both will be close scoring games with a few key factors making the difference.

Carolina should take the championship….but only IF Cam Newton stays healthy.  The Cardinals defense will come with combination blitz’s on nearly every passing down to force him out of the pocket.  The more Newton runs, the more he subjects himself to injury.  The Cardinals are, obviously, a strong team with a lot of talent but Carolina has a few advantages this weekend – they’re home and they have a Shula on board.

If Denver has a chance at winning this game and going to the Super Bowl, their receivers cannot repeat what happened last week.  Seven dropped balls will rule them out against New England.  They have to start on the mark with little to no errors in order to execute a win over New England.  They can’t give Brady as much time to throw as they allowed Roethlisberger.  I’m a Manning family fan and would love to see Peyton in the Super Bowl this year but, after last weeks game, I’m not completely confident the Denver team can win against New England.

I’m picking the Carolina Panthers over the Arizona Cardinals and the New England Patriots over the Denver Broncos.

What do YOU think?

I hope you’re wrong on the New England prediction. I’m going with Denver and Arizona. I’m pulling for Carolina, but they have not played a complete game in weeks.

Think you got the right picks, my heart goes to Denver if Peyton could get in the show and win it I think it is a good chance to retire on a high note like Elway did. Carolina has to play a full game not just a first half like they did over Seattle.

I am also picking the Carolina Panthers over the Arizona Cardinals and the New England Patriots over the Denver Broncos.

I picked Panthers over Cardinals and Broncos over Patriots. I like Newton. I am Gator fan. He played in Florida with Tebow and Auburn won National Champions in 2 schools. Panthers to win Super Bowl for Don’s son Mike. Make his dad proud another ring for Mike.

Hey Larry lifetime dolphin here thanks for the memories. Iv said for some time now that I thought Arizona would win it all, but due to the Shula factor I was pulling for carolina. I think the winner of n.e. Denver will ultimately lose to the national conference winner.

I think you are correct in your predictions, but I hope Denver can pull it off over New England! I also would like to see the Cardinals win but they would have to break Cam’s leg to win.

I think the Denver D will come thru with a turnover or two for the win

Turnovers are going to be the gamechangers. Carolina, if they can handle the Cardinal pass rush should win. Denver, in my opinion, shouldbe able to run the ball effectively, if so, and don’t put it on the ground in the red zone, should give Peyton a final trip to the Super Bowl. Those are my picks.

Hi Zonk! The Panthers seem like a team of destiny, but the Broncos D is incredible. Can’t wait for the Super Bowl!
