MY SUPER BOWL 50 PREDICTION

This is a really tough game to call.  I’m definitely a Manning fan.  But, at the same time, I’m also a long time Shula fan and Mike Shula goes way back to the Dolphins family of the 70’s.   Those are my personal feelings.  Professionally, both are, of course, two of the BEST in the NFL!  Yes, this is a tough one to call.

In my gut I feel, overall, the Carolina Panthers are the stronger team.  But have they held their concentration on the game versus the celebration of getting there?  We’ll see how the game unfolds and whether Cam and his team score early and easily…… thinking they have it won before they actually do!

And then there’s Manning – the “old pro” who’s been here before.  He knows what it takes to win a Super Bowl and the Denver defense is one of the best in the league.  Can they stay one jump ahead of Mike Shula?  Can they ignore the antics on the field and keep their heads?

Alas, who do I pick??

I see the Panthers winning by 3.  But I think I smell an upset.  I’ll be surprised if Denver doesn’t take it to the final nail-biting seconds.  It’s just their nature.
